Tips to Make the Switch to Via Seamless

Via will go above and beyond to ensure your transition is smooth sailing

We get it. Switching software systems can feel overwhelming. But with Via, we go out of our way to make sure your transition is efficient, tailored to your needs and, well, painless! One key factor to ensuring your change to Via is seamless: our amazing onboarding and training experiences.

Meet our Client Success Manager, Vanessa Escoto. She’ll be with you during every step of the onboarding and training process!

But first things first!

Here are a few tips to follow before, during, and after your transition to Via:

1.Be open to change

Yes, change can be difficult, no doubt about it. But by being open to change, you’re opening the door to a much easier workday with Via. Sure, you’ll experience some challenges learning something new, but the end result will be worth it. Fortunately, Via is easy-to-use, intuitive, and pretty amazing (if we say so ourselves). With Via, the possibilities are endless. Just ask our clients

2. Think about your current internal workflow

Define your current pain points. Get clear. What are your necessary workflows versus the workflows you have because of restraints with your current system? During your training, we’ll show you how Via can make a positive impact on your workflows—or, in other words, make your work life easier.

3. Talk with your team

Discuss how you can most efficiently adapt to a new software system. Talk through the pros and cons of your current system—and what you’re hoping for in Via. Talking with your team is a great way to get everyone involved and connected to the process of changing systems.

4. Rely on your team

Once you make the decision to switch to Via, rely on your teammates. Be honest with them throughout the transitioning period. Everyone should feel comfortable raising questions and sharing feedback.

5. Consult with your dedicated trainer

When you switch to Via, you’ll never go it alone. Have questions? Ask your dedicated trainer. Frustrated? Tell your trainer why. We’re here to teach you all the tips and tricks (though, honestly, it’s intuitive and straightforward).

6. Think strategically

Think of new ways to better collect pre-acceptance versus post-acceptance information. Also consider how you’ll divide and conquer possible new workflows created by Via that open the door to new growth.

7. Make a list and check it twice

Confirm a launch date and make sure everyone is aware of it. Via provides a pre-launch checklist throughout the training and onboarding experience to help your team stay on track. Our number one priority if making sure you reach your goal of going LIVE and launching to students.

8. Make the most of Via

Ask us about tools that can increase your outreach/engagement and marketing and how you can best grow participation through events and more. You can also use Via to track and message your travelers anywhere in the world at any time.

9. Remember: You’re never alone

Via is here for you before, during, and after your onboarding and training experience through:

  • Additional 1:1 Services
  • Knowledge Base
  • Community

10. Share with Via
